Dual study programme

Business Administration – Digital Business Management & Business Administration – International Business

To give you the ideal start to your career, we combine the theoretical content of the DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen with practical professional experience. This allows you to apply what you have learned directly and understand the company-specific Better understanding of the big picture. With us, you have the opportunity to complete a dual degree programme in Business Administration – Digital Business Management and Business Administration – International Business. Upon successful completion of your three-year programme, you will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree.

What can I expect from my dual study programme?

  • Every three months, you will alternate between lectures at the DHBW and practical semesters at Dahlinger in Lahr/Black Forest
  • You will spend the fourth practical semester at our subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Guangzhou (China). You will also have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at one of the DHBW's partner universities
  • The main topics of your practical semesters will vary depending on course of study (e.g. internal sales, project management and key account management, product management, marketing, financial accounting & controlling)
  • The course begins on 1 October, preceded by a two-week internship in August/September

What do I need to apply for the dual study programme?

  • General university entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification and proof of passing the DHBW aptitude test
  • Commitment and enjoyment of teamwork
  • You are also curious and open-minded and have a high level of willingness to learn

What does Dahlinger offer me?

Internship, working student position or thesis

Are you a full-time student looking to gain insight into professional life? Then you are welcome to complete a practical semester, a voluntary internship or a working student position at Dahlinger to deepen your theoretical knowledge through practical experience. Are you already working on your thesis and want to combine theory with practice? Dahlinger supports students from a wide range of disciplines and provides valuable input and assistance in designing your academic thesis. You will gain insights into our company and processes, as well as the information you need for your thesis, and you can consult with a designated contact person at any time. What do I need to bring with me?
