Our process step by step

1. Project Management
Smooth process
Briefing by the customer including budget specification and product launch date. The core of successful project management is our teams. Each team includes a Key Account Manager, a Back Office staff member and a Project Manager/Purchaser. Together, they are responsible for and support the project from the very start – from product development to delivery to our customers. This structure has enabled us to break away from departments, create short information paths and increase customer focus.
2. Design
Individual concepts
Creation of various design concepts, rendering presentation & selection by the customer. Our in-house design studio researches, conceptualises, designs and fine-tunes the optimal solution. As part of this, we incorporate innovation, ergonomics, function and manufacturability within a defined cost framework. This allows Dahlinger Designstudio to create tailormade solutions in close cooperation with the customer.
3. Technical Development
Implementation of design concepts
Technical development of the chosen design. The technical design department uses CAD to create the design down to the last detail and ensures that it is technically feasible and stays within budget.
4. Prototyping
Ideas you can touch
Creation of first samples for the customer to demonstrate design and functionality. The individually developed customer idea is converted into a prototype by our in-house sample department so that it can be tangibly experienced. The prototype demonstrates the design concept and can be tested for form and functionality. A large material warehouse and state-of-the-art technology offers our customers to hold the prototype in their hands on short notice.
5. Sourcing & Testing
Always under scrutiny
Receipt of customer order. Procurement of raw materials and preparation of pre-production samples, which undergo specific tests depending on requirements. Our strength lies in combining materials– be it cardboard, wood, metal or plastic. We are constantly expanding our selection through active sourcing, which means that our customers benefit from innovative solutions. We regularly test all our materials. This involves analysing, categorising and testing them. We also carry out additional testing through independent institutes such as DEKRA or SGS to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Our products also undergo rigorous testing before they go into batch production.
6. Production
Batch production in Asia & EU following customer approval

7. Quality Assurance
Highest demands
Quality assurance on site by our quality team. Our quality assurance work doesn’t begin with production – it is already underway during material and product testing. Our products are subjected to various tests, such as climate or transport tests, depending on requirements. Our subsidiary in Guangzhou (CN) has 12 qualified and experienced employees who ensure quality throughout the entire production process – with an eye on details and deadlines. Every single final inspection is documented down to the smallest detail in a QC report.
